Sultan Saladin successfully claims the throne of Damascus, exposing Gümüştekin’s schemes, while Balian confronts him over the custody of Chatillon amid Saladin's steadfast resolve to conquer Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, Lord Guy persists in seeking Princess Sybilla’s hand, but King Baldwin, influenced by Maria, strips him of command and mysteriously disappears. Meanwhile, Countess Mila ignites conflict by kidnapping Sultan Ismail, and Saladin’s forces risk everything to rescue him at Kerak Castle—a stronghold where shifting alliances, betrayal, and reckoning converge in a dramatic struggle for power and fate.
